"I have used Grand Slam Bucktails
exclusively for the past several months and am convinced this is the only way to
go. I have had great luck in all the local(Puget Sound) areas and turned some
heads when my partner hauled in a 28 lb. 12 oz. king that we hooked using a
4" needlefish GSB. In my last trip to Canada they laughed when I put on my
6" GSB, but the laughing stopped when I caught a 25 lb. king in just 10
minutes! I am sold on this product and will continue to use them."

"I've fished with a flasher and rubber
squid for salmon for over 20 years. The day of the derby I decided to try a
green herring Grand Slam Bucktail behind my flasher instead. Results: a 23-lb
winter blackmouth and 1st place in the March '99 Sekiu Salmon Derby!!
You can
tell everyone 'Rick has switched!'"

"Well
I'm convinced! This is a photo of my fishing buddy (Mac) and I. In all our years
we'd never seen a fish this big, this time of year (apr.1st), in South
Puget Sound! It weighed 21lbs-9oz. So now we have a problem. Our practice over
the years is always troll a different lure on each pole, so the fish have a
choice. But, now we both want to use the GSB first! thanks for a great lure,
from both of us!" Dan Alexanian, Olympia Wa. (Dan's and Mac's fish were
taken on our 4" Needlefish and Herring bucktails in green)

King. They were fishing with Captain John Keizer and Puget Sound Salmon
Charters. She was very proud of the fact that she had caught this nice King
herself...we would be too! (fish taken on our 4" blue needlefish
bucktail in Tacoma, Wa. area)

"We fished for silvers in summer '99
in Valdez, Alaska using 2 fly rods and Grand Slam Bucktails with a herring strip
on double hooks. We trolled them 6 to 20 ft. behind the downrigger ball. In just
over 2 hours we caught a 3-person limit(18 silvers), average size 10 lbs. This
set-up also brought in 180 silvers during the
summer of '99.
Thanks for a
great product...looking forward to fishing in the new millenium with your great
flies!!"
Brian Yamamoto, Fairbanks, Alaska
Update(11-3-00):"I have been fishing your flies now
for four years and wanted to let you know what a great product you have. This
year in Valdez, Alaska we brought 223 silver salmon to net in one week fishing 3
to 5 hours a day. We use 10-11 weight fly rods off downriggers. Once the fish
picks the fly off the release, we play the fish directly off the fly rod. Thanks
for the great product. Our biggest silver this year was 17.93
lbs." Brian Yamamoto, Fairbanks, Alaska
"My first introduction to Grand Slam Bucktails was very memorable.
One of
our guest's had talked all morning of his special lure that had caught him
his limit of fish in the lower Puget Sound all month.
He told me to take him
out to any area that I felt might hold some good "Kings" and he'd do the
rest. As the fishing for the big Chinooks had been quite slow over the last
few days I was skeptical, but I obliged him and set the boat down just off
Otter Point, west of Sooke. My guest set up his "special" lure, a blue 4"
Herring Grand Slam Bucktail, and proceeded to drop it down to about 40
feet. Before we could get the other rods out, the Bucktail was ripped off
the downrigger and after an exciting battle a beautiful, chrome 25 pound
Chinook was brought aboard. The fly continued to be productive throughout
the weekend and we now stock a full supply of Grand Slam Bucktails on each
of our charter boats. The prospect of catching big Chinook on the fly
without having to mess with bait is most exciting and we are looking forward
to a "Grand" season next spring!"
