Match the Hatch:
We produce 5 sizes in all 11 patterns – built so you can match the hatch.
Fish bite lures that match the size and color of the bait they are feeding on. In this case, size does matter. Here are just two examples of how bait size doesn’t correlate with fish size.
From 2021-2024, the bait in and around Nootka Sound, BC was very small. The typical anchovies and small spoons were not small enough to match the hatch. We made a new line of Micros to match this small bait size.
Fish eat what is around. This year in Puget Sound, the bait was 6-8″ herring. Matching that led to success, even with modest size Coho.
